In the cold winter months, the gates of Dubai Miracle Garden reopen as the weather cools. More than 150 million flowers fill this 72,000-sq-m paradise, which first opened nearly nine years ago - on Valentine's Day - to become one of the region's most picturesque and sweet-smelling destinations.

Modern landscaping is evident in Miracle Garden. It's hard to believe that the world's largest flower garden is the world's largest if you don't walk beneath the heart-shaped archways dotted with pink, red, orange and white flower petals.

As well as the planet's largest floral sculpture molded into the shape of an Airbus A380, Dubai Miracle Garden received awards from the prestigious Guinness World Records panel in 2013. their next project was to build the tallest topiary sculpture in the world made from 100,000 plants and flowers weighing over 35 tons. Featuring Disney characters and standing 18 metres tall, it was Disney's first floral display in the Middle East - and the first to be officially licensed.

Almost 1.5 million visitors come to Dubai Miracle Garden every year, and it is a place of reinvention and renewal. This park is owned and operated by Cityland Group, which also operates Dubai Butterfly Garden just next door, which is also located in Dubailand.

Garden of butterflies in Dubai

Dubai Butterfly Garden, the world's largest covered butterfly garden, is situated next to Dubai Miracle Garden. It consists of ten custom-built domes covering a total area of 6,673 square meters. There are over 50 different types of butterflies flying around the visitors in each dome, totaling 15,000 butterflies of different colors and sizes. You can observe how butterflies evolve from hatchlings to adults at Dubai Butterfly Garden.
