Dubai, UAE - As part of its ongoing efforts to protect the marine environment, enhance maritime safety and security, and protect people's lives, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure has launched an initiative known as Sailing Safely, as part of its ongoing efforts to protect the marine environment.
To ensure that leisure and fishing boat captains adhere to the highest standards of operation in the sector in order to prevent maritime accidents and to protect people's lives, the initiative includes an intensive training programme for them.
The Ministry launched this free-of-charge initiative earlier in August 2021 in order to increase the safety of boat and leisure vessel owners, since a large number of marine accidents are caused by small boats, which do not possess the necessary safety devices.
In order to combat crime and provide excellent services to residents, the Dubai Police uses the latest technologies.
