Cine-concert with Rodolphe Burger

Louvre Abu Dhabi presents live concert dedicated to the beautiful silent-movie with French guitarist and singer Rodolphe Burger
 On April 25-26.

Rodolphe Burger will perform his musical interpretation of this 1914 masterpiece -- In the Land of the Head Hunters. Mixing electronic and American music, Burger improvises the rating with this rare film where love leads to war and murder. 'Lost' because the 1940s, the film was painstakingly reconstructed from the reels by UCLA Film and Television Archive for the 100th anniversary of the movie.

Hunters are one of the first feature-length dramas. The movie stars members of the Kwakwaka'wakw (Kwakiutl) tribe of British Columbia (Canada). This haunting melodrama, before Europeans arrived on the North Pacific Coast, place, tells the story of love and of a battle between tribes, of a warrior's spiritual journey.
